Barrie Lasik Centre

Project Details

Barrie Lasik Centre is a ADA and College of Physicians & Surgeons Standards-compliant healthcare clinic. Final design of the centre incorporated surgical suits, accessible corridors, offices, patient washrooms, lounge with a kitchenette, and facilities for the staff. Project required managing all contractors, consultants as well as administering to all building permits.

Carrot Eye Surgery Clinic

Project Details

To meet Dr. Yasser Khan's need for an extension to their existing Burlington Clinic, Carrot Eye Surgery Clinic, Beenu Interior Design designed the 1,400 sq addition to add an operating room, as well as a reception and several recovery rooms. We listened to the client's special needs for functional spaces and presented a floor plan that would work with the OBC guidelines and the College's strict requirements. Following client approvals of proposed plans, we proceeded with full set of permit drawings and construction management to deliver the full project within four months.

The Burlington Laser Eye Center

Project Details

Client and patient needs were comprehensively evaluated in pre-design stages of planning this brand new ADA and College of Physicians & Surgeons Standards-compliant healthcare facility. Beenu Interior Design transformed a blank 3,000 square foot space (113 feet deep by 26 feet wide) into a state of the art surgical clinic. The clinic features Lasik and cataract suites (400 square feet each), 3 examination rooms, recovery, staff lounge and a waiting room that seats 15. With 12 foot ceiling heights and 5 foot-wide corridors, The Burlington Laser Eye Center features a grand, welcoming and functional space for their patients.

The final design complied with and accommodated the strict guidelines of the College of Physicians and Surgeons. The final design also incorporated ADA accessible corridors and patient washrooms, a lounge with a kitchenette, washroom and lockers for the staff. Project required managing all contractors, consultants as well as administering to all building permits. Project completion date: Spring 2014.

Laser Cataract Centre

Project Details

Beenu Interior Design helped Dr. David Lane in Lindsay, Ontario in designing a brand new 2,100 sq ft eye healthcare facility. The clinic is ADA and College of Physicians & Surgeons Standards-compliant .

Hospital Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital

Project Details

This project required a comprehensive design solution for the pediatric pre and post surgery waiting area, retail space and hospital boardroom. The directive was to create a calm and beautiful space that was sensitive to the experience of the families and the children who are undergoing surgical procedures. Beenu Interior Design developed the space planning solution, furniture, materials palette and artwork.

Orillia Independent & Barrie Tud Hope Manor Nursing Homes

Project Details

Beenu Interior Design provided a beginning-to-end interior design solution including project management, space planning, materials, furniture, fixture and cabinetry detailing. The final design solution integrated living suites, kitchen, dining room, entertainment, chapel, and salon, and addressed all of the accessibility issues that the residents required. The building envelope of the Tud Hope Manor Nursing Home was given Heritage status, so the completed design concept and project management accommodated its historic past. The project size: 24 000 sqft. & 15 000 sqft. respectively.

Isabella Hotel

Project Details

The Queen Ann Mansion, built in 1890, had a 7 floor addition in 1914, and is currently a full service hotel in downtown Toronto. The 21,000 sqft. project required a complete gutting and redesign and needed full project management services, including co-ordination with all consultants, engineers and contractors. Beenu Interior Design was responsible for the interior design, space planning, signage, project management, furniture, fixtures, lighting and materials selection for this project. The scope included the concierge, reception area, offices, barrier free washrooms and ramps, full kitchen and all guest suites. The project also required the renovation of the full bar and restaurant. As well, the building's Heritage status required careful design and project management to respect the original historic architecture.

Rafih Automobile Group

Project Details

Beenu Interior Design completed the redesign of a private VIP entertainment area and office for the Chairman & CEO of the Rafih Automobile Group. It's located in a BMW car dealership, and it's purpose is to entertain high-end clientele and close business transactions. The final design encompassed the space planning, lighting plans, furniture, fixture and finishes for this exclusive private space.

Outdoor Living Spaces

Project Details

This 20,000 sq ft. rooftop garden of a Toronto condominium required a fresh design, new furnishings and a functional leisure space for adults and children. Beenu Interior Design envisioned the final space as a resort-like oasis within the city that functions successfully in many types of weather and at various times of day. The final design incorporates seating for dining, quiet reading and socializing among family and other residents. Using the existing structure, the concept incorporates canopies for shade and privacy. Informal furniture groupings and lighting solutions allow users to enjoy the space in the day, and well into the evening.

Beenu Interior Design has been recognized for excellence in Garden Design, notably a 2009 Design & Construction silver medal award from the Pools, Spas and Patio Council of Canada, for a residential project which was featured in the Hamilton Spectator Newspaper.
